Intellitactics Names Matt Mosley Senior Security Strategist

Company Targets Integrators and VARs to Meet Growing Demand; Technology Partners Leverage Active Integration and Response™ Enabling Accelerated Incident Resolution

Reston, VA, April 1, 2008—Intellitactics , a leading provider of enterprise security management solutions, promoted Matt Mosley to the position of Senior Security Strategist. The new position is one in a succession of changes in the company’s distribution strategy and product strategy. Intellitactics has a long and successful history of distributing products with VARs and integrators in Europe, Asia, and South America, and is now looking to augment its direct sales force in North America with a few, highly qualified selling partners to meet growing demand.

Intellitactics is also expanding its security ecosystem by integrating with leading-edge providers of security products to ensure proactive, accelerated incident response. This Active Integration and Response™ (AIR) designation applies to a special category of products that leverage Intellitactics Security Manager’s consolidated analysis of diverse data sources. Products like Radware’s fraud detector Inflight, Mazu’s network analysis behavior manager, and Ecora’s configuration change manager send critical data to Security Manager. In turn, Security Manager’s analytical engine generates notifications of evolving threats to bring resources to bear in accelerating response and ultimately resolving security incidents.

In the newly created position, Mosley will be working with VARs and integrators as they assist companies and government agencies to implement best-practice processes along with Security Manager to comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry standards. Equally important is Mosley’s role in working with companies that are interested in integrating their products with Security Manager. Mosley brings extensive field experience and deep knowledge of security best practices to all these partners in North America, and joins the recently appointed Michael Cerick, Intellitactics VP of Business Development, in building out new channels of distribution for a family of new security appliances planned for the spring of 2008.

“Matt Mosley is highly competent technically and also has a deep understanding of how customers work to secure the enterprise. This is a rare combination and extremely valuable to all our partners,” explains Michael Cerrick, Intellitactics VP Business Development. “Intellitactics enjoys a very positive position as a solution provider to highly capable companies. We’ve spent more than 30 man years transforming the software product typically used by extremely capable, best-in-class companies into a configurable, simple to deploy product that can be used by any organization to achieve stellar results. We’re already seeing demand for a much anticipated new family of security appliances, planned for spring of 2008. We want to build a small and powerful network of partners to meet the demand, and Matt is an important part of the equation,” concludes Cerrick.

“Intellitactics is known for its holistic view of all the components within an IT infrastructure. Using Intellitactics’ products increases the number of logs and devices that can actively be managed by any organization, and this translates into an organization’s increased ability to be compliant and secure over the long term,” explains Matt Mosley, Senior Security Strategist with Intellitactics. Best-in-class companies expect to leverage their security investments through integration. To this end, Intellitactics places a priority on collaborating with innovative and best-of-breed companies to deliver tightly integrated, comprehensive security solutions to their customers. Mosley continues, “As the practice of security management matures, more IT functions are accountable for the controls put in place to make the enterprise safe. By taking advantage of the active integration and response capability, all functions can be more proactive, reducing the cost resulting from damages, disclosures, and the overall cost of compliance.”

Matt Mosley brings over 15 years of experience in engineering, consulting, and management positions with highly successful technology companies. He has consulted for two dozen Fortune 100 companies and is a founding member of the ISP Security Consortium, an organization dedicated to improving security amongst Internet providers through the sharing of information and experience.
