Intellitactics SAM is a configurable and intuitive communication vehicle designed to automate the creation and distribution of comparative metrics. The executive dashboard addresses the immediate need expressed by IT and security managers who need practical metrics to characterize and communicate security effectiveness to executives and business partners across the enterprise. The security assurance metrics, displayed on Intellitactics’ new dashboard, are designed to answer the question that executives and stakeholders ask everyday: “Are we secure?”
Intellitactics SAM is a component of the Intellitactics™ Security Manager suite, which combines security information and event management enhanced with alert scoring to transform millions of events into a smaller, more meaningful view of high-impact alerts. SAM generates security assurance metrics from measures derived from information managed by Intellitactics’ Security Manager and other sources, such as physical security systems, policy management systems and user-specific enterprise variables. Intellitactics delivers this organic library of metrics with the product and provides customers with unlimited access to new metrics that can be downloaded from the web-accessible Metrics Gallery.
